Our goal is to help individuals and families access guidance, support, resources, and practical next steps toward greater stability, recovery, and independence.

Are services clinical?
No.
Little Light of Mine provides non-clinical support services.
We do not diagnose, prescribe medication, provide psychotherapy, provide detox services, or provide medical or psychiatric treatment.
When a need falls outside our scope, we can help identify and connect you with an appropriate provider or community resource whenever possible.
What is Peer Recovery Support?
Peer Recovery Support is non-clinical support that may include encouragement, advocacy, accountability, recovery goal setting, resource connection, lived-experience-based support, and assistance with maintaining progress.
Peer support does not replace therapy, medical care, psychiatric care, or other licensed clinical treatment.
What are Community Health Worker Services?
Community Health Worker services help individuals understand and navigate available health, wellness, social-service, and community resources.
Support may include helping individuals:
Identify appropriate community resources
Organize next steps
Prepare for appointments
Understand available services
Connect with agencies and providers
Navigate barriers to care and community support
Do you help people find detox or behavioral health services?
Yes.
Little Light of Mine can assist individuals and families with locating detox, treatment, behavioral health, and recovery resources.
We provide resource navigation and support with identifying options, but we do not provide detox or clinical behavioral health treatment directly.
Do you provide employment support?
Yes.
Employment and work-readiness support may include:
Résumé assistance
Job-search support
Online application assistance
Interview preparation
Work-readiness planning
Employment-resource navigation
Assistance organizing employment documents
Do you provide transportation?
Transportation coordination and limited transportation support may be available depending on the service requested, scheduling, location, and availability.
Transportation-related support may include job interviews, work, grocery shopping, appointments, recovery-related activities, and approved community-resource needs.
Are services mobile?
Some services may be provided in community settings when appropriate.
Mobile and community-based services depend on the type of service, scheduling, location, safety, and individual circumstances.
Is Little Light of Mine private pay?
Yes.
Little Light of Mine currently operates as a private-pay service.

Is there a consultation fee?
No.
Little Light of Mine offers a complimentary 15-minute consultation for new clients and families.
The consultation allows us to briefly discuss your needs, explain available services, and determine whether Little Light of Mine may be an appropriate resource for you.
Do you work with families?
Yes.
Family support may include education, recovery-resource navigation, guidance, community referrals, and support with understanding how to help a loved one while maintaining healthy boundaries.
Is my information kept private?
Little Light of Mine is committed to treating individuals and families with dignity, respect, and appropriate confidentiality.
Information is requested only when reasonably necessary to provide or coordinate services.
Can you guarantee placement into housing, treatment, or other programs?
No.
Little Light of Mine can assist with resource navigation, applications, information gathering, and connection to outside programs, but we cannot guarantee acceptance, placement, eligibility, availability, or approval by another organization.
What if I am experiencing an emergency?
Little Light of Mine is not an emergency response service.
If you are experiencing a medical, psychiatric, or immediate safety emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or licensed emergency provider.
